Bruce Peabody is Professor of Government and Politics in the Department of Social Sciences and History at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey. He received his Ph.D. in Government from the University of Texas at Austin in 2000 and his B.A. in the College of Social Studies at Wesleyan University (Connecticut) in 1991. He currently serves as Director of the Florham Institute for Lifelong Learning, (FILL) having previously been Chair of his department. 

Bruce has written and edited books on law and courts, political philosophy, and politics and film. He is also the author of dozens of scholarly articles on a wide variety of topics and has published over fifty op-eds and general audience pieces in such venues asThe New York Times, Washington Post, and Wall Street Journal.
